Privacy policy

The short version: we only collect what you type into our forms, we use it to quote and schedule your job, and we never sell it.

What we collect

When you request a quote or send an inquiry we collect the name, phone number, and email you provide, along with the job details you describe (material, yardage, jobsite, timeline), and whether you ticked the box agreeing to text messages. We use this only to respond to your request and schedule work.

Text messages

Every form on this site has a text message box. It starts unticked. If you tick it, we may text you at the number you gave us about that request: quote follow-up, scheduling, and job updates. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not text anyone who has not opted in. Leave the box unticked and we will call or email instead. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of doing business with us.

Message frequency varies with the job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text from us to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by calling (714) 493-7597 or emailing brandon@socaldirtbroker.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only outside party that handles your number for texting is the messaging provider that delivers our messages, and it handles it only to do that.

Who processes it

We use a small set of service providers to run the site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

  • Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.)

    Error monitoring. When something breaks on the site we receive a technical error report. If you recently submitted a form, the report may include the name, email, and phone number you entered so we can tell who was affected.

  • Better Stack (Better Stack, Inc.)

    Uptime monitoring and application logs. Our form-submission log lines include the name and email you entered so we can trace a failed submission.

  • Resend

    Transactional email. Delivers your quote request and inquiry details to our yard inbox, plus your confirmation email.

  • Vercel

    Hosting and privacy-friendly website analytics (page views, no advertising cookies).
